Anderson’s images spring from his impressions of the American west and his extensive travels abroad. They are often expressed with brightly colored anthropomorphic forms. Close inspection may reveal a mountain ridge as a hip, a peak as breast or a cloud as a face. He explains that this imagery reminds him of the universal pervasiveness of feminine energy
