In Loving Memory of Jerry Anderson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jerry Anderson on January 1, 2026. Coupled with that sadness is an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the gifts his creativity imparted to us all in his time on this plane of existence.

Jerry was a gifted artist whose work explored the archetypal essence of creativity through vibrant acrylic paintings that celebrated the female form and the universal energies that connect us all. His canvases were visual meditations on life’s journey—a pursuit of discovering all that life offers, as he so eloquently expressed in his artist statement.

Throughout his career, Jerry’s work was recognized internationally, with exhibitions in the United States, China, Denmark, Italy, Morocco, and the Middle East. He exhibited regularly with Agora Gallery in New York City and maintained a devoted following of collectors and admirers who were moved by his artistic vision.

Jerry approached his art with reverence and wonder, describing his creative process as reaching for contact with the energy that activates our universe. His paintings revealed hidden connections—faces in cobblestones, feminine forms in caves, cosmic relationships in dreams—each canvas an invitation to see the extraordinary in the everyday.

His legacy lives on in the beauty he created and shared with the world, and in the hearts of all who knew him and were touched by his work.

For those wishing to honor Jerry’s memory, the family asks that you take a moment to appreciate the creative spirit in your own life and the myriad connections and possibilities that present themselves at each moment.

Myriad connections

and possibilities present themselves at each moment… a cobblestone street that conceals a face, a cave that reveals a woman’s body, or a dream that intimates cosmic relationships. Engaging in each painting focuses this journey for me and provides a quiet unknowing that reveals new surprises, new connections and a fullness of heart. I am awed by the creative energy that activates this life and indeed our whole universe. My paintings are my reaching for contact with this energy. In my work, the female form inevitably emerges as the image which most visibly represents universal creativity for me.
